Greetings,

Welcome to the Gamma Theta Xi Sorority website page showcasing our regional locations and chapter information! Our sorority is a diverse and inclusive community of women who are committed to academic excellence, leadership development, and sisterhood.

Our chapters are organized based on degree type and universities where our sisters attend. We believe that by grouping our members in this way, we can foster a sense of camaraderie and support among women who share similar academic interests and goals.

As a sorority that is not affiliated with any university, we are proud to have members from a wide range of educational institutions across the country. Our chapters are spread out geographically, allowing our sisters to connect with each other both in person and online.

Significance

Walden University holds a special place in the heart of our founder, who is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Health Psychology there. It was during her time at Walden that she had the vision to create Gamma Theta Xi Sorority, Incorporated, a new African American Greek Letter Organization aimed at providing a more inclusive and flexible option for students who may have found it difficult to join traditional organizations. Inspired by her own journey from being part of a BGLO & multicultural organization in her past, she decided to offer this opportunity to her fellow students at Walden first, before extending the invitation to students at other universities. Being a student who completed her undergrad at the University of Phoenix and now currently at Walden University, through the creation of Gamma Theta Xi Sorority, Incorporated, her mission is to become a beacon of empowerment and unity for all students seeking a supportive and inclusive community.
